New Moon in the Air Sign of Gemini

Today begins the three day new moon window in Gemini.

Normally this new moon would feel airy and energetic but in the light of all the planetary energies and collective challenges we are facing it has a heavier quality to it.

The energy calls for us to be even more conscious of how we work with this new moon.

Gemini is an air new moon so working with intention is even more powerful than usual.

Because Gemini works with the mind and mental realm this window creates a potent time to commit to learning something new.

When you are setting your personal intentions for the next month be sure and add one for the upliftment of the collective and some innovative new ways of cleaning up the environment to emerge.

The sun moved into the air sign of Gemini today. Air teaches you about all the things that are carried on the invisible air waves. And because we all constantly share this element, it is what creates “mass consciousness.” This month notice what you are sending out, transmitting, and communicating over the air waves?

How can you use the power of Air to get the word out this month about your product or service or clear the air with someone? This is a great time to focus on networking and your communication with others.

Air also helps you gain perspective on your life. Working with this free moving element helps you lighten up and add the upliftment of wind under your wings for greater ease with any creation.

Air blows around and it is easy to lose track of where you are. That is what happens to me so often when I go into facebook or start searching on the web. I lose track of why I started in the first place and end up in some unexpected place. Using the power of Air to help focus is sometimes so needed.

Gemini is a fun loving light-hearted sign so enjoy yourself when you can. In the midst of all the serious things we are collectively facing laugh when you can and send some upliftment to our precious planet.

Either way, when it is brought by nature or the hand of others, if destruction makes its way to your doorstep its devastating. The chaos, loss, disorder, and helplessness remind you to the core of your soul of the vulnerability of life.

It can be tragic to live through devastation, and tough to live with the knowing that life is fleeting, subject to the forces of nature, and the potentially destructive side of humanity. So what do you do? How do you experience destruction in your life and go on? How do you help those around you when they face the utter transformation of their lives?

Whether the loss of the old way of life is brought on by a sudden natural disaster, the slow decline of a marriage, industry, or economic flow, the death of a loved one, or the cruel hand of humanity, you need strong inner resources to help you through. How you engage the loss makes a difference in whether it destroys you forever or you are capable of rebuilding.

Collectively, we’ve witnessed stories of both individual lives and the lives of entire groups of people that faced tragedy, cruelty, loss, and still found it within themselves to  rebuild and thrive. What is the difference in those people and others who face similar situations but end up so beaten down by life that they never recover?

From the outside you can’t tell the difference. There is nothing that shows up externally that determines the depth of inner tenacity. But there are markers of character and personal development that seem to make a difference.

One is the capacity to find gratitude for even the smallest thing, even in the midst of the bleakest situation, and focus energy on that until it uplifts the spirit. Another is the ability to focus on creation both immediate and long term. What do we need to create right now to get food, water, and health care to where it is essential? How can we rebuild in a way that is stronger and more in alignment with the forces of nature?

Those two things alone can make the distinction between those who never recover from tragedy and those able to regain the strength and will to survive and thrive. At the core of both these components is the consistent practice of focus. Continuing to direct your focus while also allowing time for your feelings about the situation to be processed, aligns your head and heart toward creation.

In trying times and situations, as well as in daily life, centering yourself in gratitude and creation uplifts and directs your energy. It develops strong inner resources that help you and those around you not only survive, but ultimately thrive.

Last year I set out to reprint the Elemental Forces of Creation Oracle. The first group I had printed in China based on the recommendation of someone who had printed her own deck there.  She had originally learned about this printer from someone else who had several decks printed with them. They both had gotten great service and a good price from the printer she recommended to me.

All went great with my first run and the decks were a success, but this time I wanted to see if there was anything I could do to get the oracles printed in the US. I wanted to lower the environmental foot print the decks made by traveling a smaller distance and to have as green printing as possible. I also wanted to keep the economic flow in the US and receive them sooner than I would if they were coming from China.

Initially, I paid someone to research printers in the US and she found no comparable price. One printer wanted more than the retail price of $24.99 per unit even with printing a 1000 sets. A few months later I began doing more research myself. I looked into many different printers and no one could come close to the price with the same package.

So, we worked at redesigning the package. Then, one US printer had a reasonable price, green standards, and was located in Orlando. Even with that the price for the project, it was a couple thousand dollars more than I would have paid sending the project to my original printer in China. But, I was determined to help the US economic flow and the environmental footprint even if it meant paying more.

So, I began working with this US printer and told him how delighted I was to be doing the project in the US. It seemed all was going well until there was a delivery date issue. I received an email stating that the oracles would be here on November 2nd; Which was the projected date I thought I would receive them based on our correspondences.

Two oracles did arrive on that date as final proofs. I thought the final proof was when I signed off on all the art work which I had done weeks earlier. I was later told the rest of the shipment was to arrive in 6+ weeks. “How is it that it takes so long if the product is coming from Orlando” I asked?

That is when it dawned on me. This is exactly how long it takes when the product is coming from China. I wrote and asked about this. Never once in all our correspondences did the printer tell me that in fact the oracles were printed in China.

Even when I said to him that it was an integrity issue for me because I put printed in the US on the package. He simply restated how green the printing practices were because they used no lead or formaldehyde in the printing (which is great) and never said they were printed in China.

After continued questioning where they were printed and stating that it was an integrity issue for me, he simply avoided answering my direct questions about it. Then he stopped responding to my emails and was always out of the office when I called.

Just today when I was looking over the original quote email, I saw a tiny line for the first  time that says they manufacture in Orlando and in China. However, never once while we were setting up the printing and putting printed in the USA on the package did I realize those decks would have been printed in China instead of Orlando.

Even after asking time and time again, I never received a clear answer. I finally knew for a fact that the oracles were printed in China because the boxes they eventually arrived said PRINTED IN CHINA all over the side. So to those of you who purchased the product I apologize for them saying Printed in the USA. I honestly thought they were printed in Orlando or I would have stated clearly on the package…Printed in China just like I did the first time when I knew that is where they were printed.

I work hard at honoring my word and being in integrity with it. Not that I am perfect, I just really try to make sure what I say comes from the purest place possible within me. In this case, the integrity of my word rested on what I understood from someone else. In this world of increased global business relationships it is important to be as clear as possible with what we say about our product and services because we are so interconnected.

So for my own integrity, I wanted to communicate clearly about the oracle printing to you. And to let you know, I did work toward decreasing the environmental impact of producing our product and will continue to do so.

And, regardless, of where they ended up being printed; I can say with confidence the oracle is a wonderful and powerful tool for connecting to the Elemental Forces of Creation. The oracle can help you connect to the guidance of Earth, Water, Air, Fire, & Spirit anytime you need it.

For your intentions to come fully into form, you need focus and commitment. Commitment is the energy that helps you see something through until completion.

When you are learning or doing something new you often reach a “crisis of commitment.” A place where you have to decide if you are going to stick with it until you break through to the other side of it or if you are going to give up.

Focus can help you pull your energy back toward your intention when you get off track. And if you fully commit to your intention and focus, you can experience breakthrough and completion.

You have so many choices in life, so many places to put your energy, so many interesting things to explore and people to meet. Focus helps you keep directing your attention toward your desires until they fully come into form.

Focusing your attention on anything amplifies its energy, so you need to be sure to keep your focus on what you desire in life. What you focus on expands.

While it is extremely important for you to keep your mental realm focused on what you choose to bring into being, you must simultaneously release any attachment to the outcome. Focusing your energy does not equate to controlling a situation.

To come fully into being, sometimes your creations have to move in ways you can not anticipate. Many times when you release control of a situation, Spirit and your guides move things into place that help you clear what is in the way of bringing the creation into being.

You may need to uncover and release old belief systems or emotional baggage before the desire can come fully into form. If you struggle, control, or resist what is moving in your life, you just might miss the lessons you are meant to learn and block the dream from becoming reality.

You need to practice continually bringing your focus back to your intention.
