Unless you have consciously chosen your beliefs, you are still carrying the ones you learned in childhood. It’s often not easy to realize the limiting nature of those beliefs and how much they impact your life experience.

A belief like, “You have to work hard and sacrifice for what you get in life,” sets a certain tone that impacts your prosperity flow. A completely different vibration comes from the belief “All my needs and desires come to me effortlessly and easily,” or “I create my life dreams with ease and grace.” Your personal awareness expands as you examine your beliefs to determine if they were consciously chosen or unconsciously passed down to you.

Personally I’ve been actively connecting to the Divine Feminine since the late 80′s and continue to open to her guiding wisdom. By working with her I’ve learned to honor the feminine energy as it flows through all aspects of my life. The interesting thing is my relationship with her has also brought a deeper healing with masculine energy. The clearer the energy is between my feminine and masculine the more effectively I create and that impacts my finances and business in a big way.

Beltane is the starting point for the growing summer season. The Solar Fire and the Earth Goddess unite now and bring forth new plants to feed the multitudes. This union of Earth and Fire is essential for the growth of crops, so it is honored with feasting and ceremony. The dance of the May Pole, for instance, represents and celebrates the powerful union of the masculine and feminine principles.

Each of us carries internally the two basic principles of masculine and feminine within our consciousness, and at this time of year you can find value in noticing how they are working together. Those two principles must join within you for any creation to come to fruition. Honor how they both work, and notice what they want to fertilize with their combined energy.

Nature grows and expresses in rhythms and cycles. Some cycles are short say a day, others maybe weekly, monthly, yearly, or over lifetimes. Creation flows in cycles as well. Most often in the same pattern as the growing cycle, from getting the seed of an idea, to it being a tender shoot as it comes into the world of form, through its growing then harvest time, and into the cycle of completion and decline.

Right now economic stability and prosperity represents the growing focus of many people. And because of the disconnection from nature’s wisdom often people forget that cycles impact what they are growing economically. Learning to tune into the rhythmic cycle of nature and the elemental forces can assist you tremendously in getting back on track and effectively bringing in your creations.

These cycles of varying lengths affect collective and personal creations. Each cycle begins, grows, produces, and then transforms into something else in order to begin again. Cycles can happen within a larger cycle for example within the larger cycle of the formation of the stock market through its existence there have had numerous cycles of increase and decrease within multiple markets.

The same rhythmic relationship applies to your life, your business, your leadership, and to your creations. You need to be able to both actively direct your creation energy from a powerful internal position and also learn to receive and respond to external events that are beyond your control, from a clear inner place of grace, love, and compassion. Developing a respectful understanding of this natural cycle will help you to effectively work with each phase.

The impulse of creation, the energy for things, systems, and ways of life moves through the creative expanding phase and when this phase runs out of energy the decline and dying off portion of the cycle begins the transformation into something else. Our collective experience teaches us this repeatedly.

We have example after example — from the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, to the transformation of the horse and buggy days to the time of the automobile, and now the rise of technology. Just as one way of life constantly transforms into another, reflecting the deep and constant change of nature, this same type of change also affects the flow of creation.

As you experience the seasonal cycle of the sun and the movement of the moon pulling on the tides, you also experience an individual and collective ebb and flow of economics and prosperous personal and business systems. The length of a prosperous cycle depends on the ability of those working with the energy to keep it growing, continuing to build, developing and strengthening, responding to change, and ultimately creating a sustainable system that nourishes itself.

Once a system or way of life, is no longer sustainable and full of life force energy, it begins the deterioration portion of the cycle. If a decline is noticed in time, the possibility for renewal exists. If the system can be re-energized and creatively nourished then growing expanding phase has the potential to effectively flow once again. If not, the transformational phase will begin moving toward decline and eventual end.

The energy of any system cannot be drained over time and continue to thrive. In order to experience abundance and prosperity things, people, nations, environments, and economic systems must be feed and nourished with the energy of creation. Personally when the energy of anything in your life moves into the declining phase you can evaluate the possibility of nourishing replenishment. By honoring what is ready to be released and appropriately focusing your energy on creating the next phase you can create an effective and smooth transition. Times of change bring the greatest possibility for growth and transformation when you allow yourself to apply your creativity and capacity for innovation.

It is important to ask yourself if you are responding to the changing economic cycles. Are you allowing yourself to release  old energies and what no longer works and move into what is new and growing?

Fire - Take Transformative Action

Moving from financial fear to creating conscious abundance with Fire requires embracing new actions and letting go of old ones. Stepping into a new phase of anything requires letting go of your old familiar previous ways of functioning. Like the snake shedding its skin, you need to release what no longer serves you so you have room to grow and move forward. Letting go feels scary, which explains why people often want to know with certainty what is coming next and how it is going to fully play out before they are willing to release what is known. Yet the transformational process of change rarely works that way.

Fire is a transformational element, changing one from into another. Often after releasing the old, you experience a period of not knowing before the new is born from the ashes. Honoring the transformational phase of a process requires trust and letting go; it is just the first stage. You have to practice and learn trust. Like the trapeze artist suspended high in the air releasing one bar, knowing the other will arrive just in time to grab hold, and swing into the next movement.

One of the ways Fire helps you transform is through the power of action. Putting your previously-explored emotional shifts, intention, and specific plan into practice are powerfully transformative actions. These actions create a lot of energy that keep you moving in the direction you desire: creating a strong financial future. Simultaneously, they increase your trust, so that your next movement will be towards your goals, which enhances Fire’s action energy.  Then, the cycle continues.

Studies have shown that there is a direct correlation to mental health and the feeling of control each of us has on our lives.  The more control we have, the better our mental health.  The less control we feel, the poorer our mental health. Flow Clear, Clean, & Current Financial Feelings

The third Element to bring into your process around creating abundance is Water.  Throughout your life, Water develops your emotional capacity.  You start learning about feelings from the emotional climate of your family, caretakers, and those you grew up around. If you want to grow beyond your current emotional dynamic around money, you need to become more conscious and aware of what you are feeling in any moment.

You may have grown up in an environment that held certain beliefs about finances, worth, and value.  What are those beliefs?  Dive deeply into these highly emotional concepts to search what might be holding you back.  Your emotions are powerful forces that can also include dangerous undertows that pull you back into old beliefs and deep conditioning regardless of your conscious intentions.

You can start increasing your emotional awareness by noticing what part of your consciousness is responding or reacting to money.  An emotional reaction is when you allow your emotions to be released before you give yourself time to choose your response.  For example, if you grew up in a miserly home surrounded by a fear of lack, your first “gut” reaction to buying an item may be an instant “No!”  This undertow reaction may be about not being able to afford the item, or it could be about you not being worth the cost.

Conversely, if you grew up in an environment where money matters were treated irresponsibly, it might be too easy to purchase items without concern of consequences.  Credit cards make it very easy to think about a purchase with a “tomorrow is another day” postponement of payment, or  you may find that you are buying items in an unconscious effort to fill a hole inside caused by a lack of some kind of personal fulfillment.

Take some time to journal about money. You might even hold money in one hand and write with the other.  Be sure to give yourself enough time and privacy to explore this subject deeply and completely.  This is not about punishing yourself:  it is about understanding where your emotions around money and finances originated. Once you know the emotion’s source, you can begin clearing it out.

As you clear and clean old reactive emotional responses from your emotional current, a force increases its flow through you: Water’s primary power of love.  Love is a powerful force which infuses everything it contacts, providing the nourishment needed for things to grow and flourish.  Nature abhors a vacuum, so you need to replace old emotional responses with intentional new ones: doubt making way for gratitude and fear transforming into love.

Now it is time to ground your plan with gratitude.

After working with Air in moving from financial fear to creating conscious abundance, next, connect with Earth by bringing your vision into the physical realm. Simply writing down your vision for conscious abundance can create this anchoring. Be bold, specific, and realistic.  Numerous studies have shown that when you write down your goals, you have a 90% higher chance of attaining them.

Earth will help you put structure and form to your vision.  She reminds you that it takes step-by-step discipline to bring an idea or vision into being. Earth teaches you to lay one brick at a time, take one step then the next, write the first chapter and then the second, and work from the foundation up to complete anything in the physical realm. Even though the other elements assist you in accelerating your accomplishments, when it comes to anchoring an idea on the earthly realm, it happens in solid steps and stages.

Earth also includes the work of planning, organizing, and tending.  Have you noticed that when your physical world (home, office, car, etc.) is disorganized and untended your inner world reflects the same sense of chaos and discord?  Creating order in your physical environment then developing a organized plan will help you achieve your vision.

If you have a hard time outlining your plan, 20 minutes of quiet connection with Earth (whether sitting, standing, or walking outside) can help you ground and create a down-to-earth plan. Likewise, you can ask Earth if there are areas of life where you need to become more grounded, then listen for her reply internally. Be mindful to thank her for her assistance.

The element of Earth responds immediately to gratitude. When you are grateful for all you have been given and treat those gifts with respect, you create an internal quality of grace. The grace of gratitude allows you to more easily bring your creative gifts into form and anchor them fully on Earth. When you approach life from a space of gratitude, the energy around you lines up to help you fulfill your desires.

Nature Knows How to Grow Abundance

We live in a world of uncertainty and dramatic change today.  If we pay attention to the media, there is little good news out there, and much of that is buried under predictions of doom and gloom.  And while keeping up with current events may be important, it can also cause your fear to grow.  No one works at their best if their motivation is rooted in fear.  In order to reach our true potential, we must feel strong, uplifted, and confident.

The economy is one of the difficulties we deal with on a daily basis. We hear about people losing their savings, their jobs, their homes, their security. Retirees are returning to work and younger people are not able to find jobs. None of us wants to lose what we have worked for. And the fears that are prevalent in our world don’t give us any comfort or hope. However, you can impact your experience and let the elements support your abundance.

Creating Security
It is up to you to personally work through any fears you may have about money, financial stability or security. Choosing to focus on abundance while the world around you energizes fear may leave you feeling like you are “swimming upstream.” Creating abundance success requires planning, making conscious choices, clearing old feelings, taking action, and staying focused.

Remember — what you focus on grows.  Do you want to grow your fear of lack of money or your vision of abundance?  Focusing on the financial picture you choose to create will ensure that you aren’t energizing your fears and will help you know what actions you need to take.

The creation energies of Nature (Earth, Water, Air, Fire, & Spirit) all contribute their unique energy to anything you manifest. Knowing how to work with each element is vital to your success. The elemental forces can support you to bring your desires into form, both personally and professionally. If you are ready to clear your fears about finances and consciously create abundance, the elements can help you realize your dreams.

Air – Get a Clear Vision and Stay Focused
Air governs the mental realm, your consciousness, and your ability to envision your life. Just as you need clean air to breathe, you need a clean mental realm that can direct your intent and help you maintain a powerful perspective from which to vision your life.

In relation to the other elements, Air moves fast and is not easily contained. Mental chatter easily clutters up your mind. You need your mental realm free from worry and negative thought for it to function at its optimal capacity. Are there old thoughts or beliefs that are stirring up your financial fear?

As you release that old mental clutter and begin to consciously create abundance you need to find clarity about what it is you really want. Take some time to think through this. What do you really want?  Be specific.  See it in your mind’s eye.  When you create a vision, you begin creating from your ideas and pictures of what you choose your world to be like.  The pictures you hold start drawing energy to them.  If you want to bring your highest good into manifested or created form, it is critical that your pictures be of the highest possible outcome.

Commit to it. For your intentions to come into form, you need commitment. It is the energy that helps you stay with something through until completion. It works hand in hand with Air’s power of focus.  If you are committed to your intention, focus helps you realign when you get off track.  Focus and commitment help you direct your attention toward your desires until they come into form.
