Virgo, an Earth sign, creates the sixth astrological gate of awareness, teaching the significance of dedicated work. It understands and honors patterns, timings, rhythms, and cycles. It accesses the Priest/ess with to honor the sacred in the natural world through ceremony and ritual. Virgo is organized, practical, dependable, productive, and a hard worker with a tremendous capacity for handling the details of the earthly realm. This new moon provides you with one of the three earthy new moons of the year. It forms  a time for solid planning and grounded action. Write your goals down in detail. Make plans for the final months of the year.

Take some time during this new moon window to sit in meditation, asking where it is in your life that you need to more deeply connect the sacred to the earthly physical realm.Take notes about what you receive as you tune into this Virgo energy. Follow up on the insights you receive.

Organize your life. Handle details. Perform ceremonies. Connect to the sacred in every aspect of life. Increase productivity. Activate your sacred work. Be of service. Develop an exercise or health program. Tie up loose ends. Be useful. Connect to the patterns, rhythms, and cycles of nature.

It is time to review your solid grounded creation plans! What needs to be completed to have more order in your life? All Earth new moons are useful for solid grounded steps toward your goals.

Choose the one or two ideas most aligned with you to work with.

Personal Action Suggestions:

~ Appreciate your body and give it what it needs to thrive– good food, exercise, touch, and some fresh air.
~ Spend time in nature by gardening, going for a walk, or planting a tree. Give thanks and appreciation to the element of Earth as you connect with her.
~ Make sure your financial goals are in writing.
~ Handle unfinished household or gardening chores.
~ Start a new eating or exercise plan. Virgo is one of the best new moon’s of the year for this.
~ Organize and create new systems for more order.
~ Create a ceremony for any area of your life that needs boosting.

Business/Professional Action Suggestions:

~ Make sure your living will, your regular will, and your insurance is up to date.
~ Put systems in place for emergencies or update the one you have.
~ Make sure your valuables are inventoried, at home and work. Make sure they are organized so you can find them easily.
~ Create a list of anything else you need to come into place for a strong business foundation, and take solid steps toward building that foundation.
~ Evaluate your business management systems.  Are there areas to strengthen?
~ Either review or create your business financial goals, expenses, income, and investments.
~ Develop new strategies and systems for step-by-step business growth.
~ Connect with ways you can bring the sacred into your work place more effectively.

What if there was a wise person in your life that was right there ready to assist you anytime you had a question but you just kept walking past them and not paying any attention?

What if that person held secrets that could make every area of your life better but you continued to ignore them?

NATURAL RHYTHMS AT MID-LIFE

Understanding that “Nature does not hurry, yet all things are accomplished” can assist you as you move through the changes associated with mid- and later life. Allowing your life’s events and opportunities to unfold in their own divine, right timing, leaves room for all your good to unfold with them.
Give gratitude to each of the amazing parts of your body on a regular basis. Your body will reward you with renewed vigor.

Re-dedicate yourself to proper periods of rest. Especially in the middle years, everything seems clearer and more easily managed after a good night’s sleep. Ask for assistance on the inner realm if sleep is sometimes illusive.

Working with your dreams enables you to open to your heart’s deepest needs and desires. Consider learning to interpret the main themes of your sleep time messages.

In the mid and later years, it is particularly helpful to be willing to ask for what you need. You may be asking Spirit, Goddess, or your own inner consciousness. You do not have to do things without Elemental and Universal support.

Stay connected to your own inner passion and fire through readings, circles of like-minded individuals, and classes to connect to your joy. Often, you can be involved from home, through the internet, or you may wish to connect through community.

Expansion Up & Out Requires Deep & Stable Roots

Anytime you want to be more, have more, or do more, in order to expand up and out in your personal or professional life, you have to develop a deeper stronger and more stable root system. Just like a tree, you are an organic living system comprised of the elemental forces of creation (Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Spirit).

Each of the elements impact your organic living system and your ability to expand and bring into form any of your dreams and desires. When someone is out in the forest with no compass or map, every direction looks almost the same.  Which way do I walk?  Where do I call for guidance? Is it safer to rest or keep walking?

Between the Sun and the Rainbow …

Lay the road on which I traveled home, Sunday afternoon March 28, from the 6-day intensive Natural Rhythms 300 training, and Natural Rhythms Creation Coaching training.  The depth of feeling about this experience was defying words, and so I just relished in the feelings, allowed the emotions to flow, thought about all the options now opening to me, and was excited to return home to take the first steps on my new path.

Up ahead the sky was darkening, and suddenly, all the Elements began to do an “as within, so without” dance. Rain began to sprinkle, then became a downpour, and out of nowhere, hail pelted my windshield.  All the while, the sun continued to shimmer in my rearview mirror.

Suddenly, a rainbow appeared ahead, faint at first, then becoming stronger and more vibrant.  It seemed to traverse a sunrise to sunset expanse.  Next, a second rainbow appeared, this one closer to me, going all the way to the ground, with individual raindrops visible within the colors.

Then, it happened.  The rainbow laid itself down on the ground directly in front of my car.  As I approached to meet it, it seemed not to move.  I was driving over the rainbow.  The prisms of color remained suspended, a phenomenon that cannot actually happen, so it is said. But, when you are evoking the Elemental Forces of Creation, what was once not possible comes swiftly into focus, and provides the stepping stones for journeys of unimagined depth, joy, and beauty.
