Create A Dynamic Year for Yourself

One of the things I hear people frustrated and struggling with the most around their creations is when they’ve been working on bringing something in but nothing appears to have happened yet. Frequently they “give up” and think that what they are doing just isn’t working when actually there could be a lot of other factors at play.

Understanding the other pieces that could be impacting the situation can go along way toward supporting your creations coming fully into form. Each element (Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Spirit) and the rhythmic cycles, all contribute something important to the process of creation. If one of these components is left out it weakens your ability to get your desires into form.

Earth, for example, requires that you create a plan if you want specific results and be willing to go step-by-step toward your dreams. It also works with the principle of organic timing. The tomato ripens when it is the right time — pick it too early and it isn’t nearly as good. This realm requires patience with the growing and developing process. It’s good to ask yourself here if you are rushing or pushing out of the natural timing for your creations.

Water wants you to have creation confidence. This is a strong internal feeling that your dreams are absolutely on their way  — it is simply a matter of timing. When you have a weak feeling of belief, your creations have no substantial feeling to magnetize or draw toward. Water requires that you keep believing no matter how long something seems to be taking. In the emotional realm, ask yourself if you are holding the feeling of fulfillment for your desires.

Air and Fire team up to be sure you keep your focus, action, and energy all going toward what you want to bring into form. Too many people get distracted, unfocused, and inactive around their creations and then wonder why nothing is happening. Growth, new projects, and any creation needs attention and energy — constantly — to come into form. Just like you need a fresh wood to keep a fire going, you need fresh energy to fuel your creations.

Spirit requests that you evaluate your desires to be sure they are in alignment with your core essence. Sometimes people think they want something just because their family or the collective supports it, when in fact, it might not be a real desire for them. It’s essential here to examine your heart and be sure you are creating what is true for you. That makes it much easier to apply Spirit’s power of choice toward what you really want to create.

Lastly, just like you need to feed your body regularly or fertilize your garden you to need to routinely energize your creations. Working with the new moons each month is one of the best ways to do that. The new moons are like a new year, they provide that fresh start energy. Each new moon begins the growing phase of the lunar cycle and forms a great time to “fertilize” your dreams and desires.

This month, very close to the new year, is the first new moon of the year in Capricorn. This new moon is the best one for creating a powerful grounded plan to bring your dreams and desires into form. The energetic window of this new moon is Jan 3-5 and it has an extra energy booster of a solar eclipse with it. So I really encourage you to use this potent timing to 1) be sure you have a dynamic plan for 2011 and 2) actively energize your plan during the three days of the new moon.
